Turku and Tallinn – strong in information related competencies

By the CIP WorkLab project the libraries and higher education institutions in Tallinn and Turku are able to strengthen their regional role and influence by concrete actions.

A strong library field cluster has been developed in the Turku and Tallinn regions.

CIP-WorkLab puts together know-how in information related competencies and enhances the mutual networking of libraries and education. The project gives the libraries and higher education institutes the possibility to develop in collaboration information related competences and new kinds of services.

The project strengthens the regional infrastructure of knowledge by bringing out new knowledge and concrete and innovative service products to support development of professionalism among information professionals and the region’s enterprises to take full advantage of information and research.
